Wine works in mysterious ways…
Ok,…maybe not, but you can have fun trying to describe the sippin’ to tippin’ spectrum of how you feel!
A recent trip to my local HEB grocery store demystified a wine that is certainly worth a share! The phenomenal wine import from Argentina is called New Age. It’s a 10% blend of Sauvignon Blanc and 90% Torrontes. Per the bottle, the aroma is described as an “intense fruit and floral” smell. New Age also self-reports as “soft” and “sensual”, AND SENSUAL is a correct description. Pardon my vulgarity, but by the time I had 3 pours from this gorgeous bottle my lady parts were saying “Its about that TIME!” 😉 I am no wine expert but this blend has the finish of an Asti with the sweetness of a Moscato. Surprisingly, this wine has no sweeteners whatever. The bottle recounts that New Age may also be served over ice (Whaaat?!?! ICE IN MY WINE GLASS!?!?! KIM ZOLCIAK STYLE???!?!?) and even during my initial sample I was told that the wine mixes well with carbonated water. My wife and I finished New Age within an hour although our intentions were to save some for the weekend #fail. I am still trying to find the origin of the artwork, but nevertheless, everything about this wine is amazing. This is the wine you take as a housewarming gift- yeah, its that good.
Don’t be tardy for this party.
